This week, Web3 has gained some attention with the launch of skincare guru Cristina Carlino's new brand Bakeup, and the release of Dr. Squatch's Crypto Cleanse soap bar. Drag queens are back in the collaboration space with Kim Chi and Trixie Mattel's BFF4L collection. Vitamin C is the ingredient in the limelight this week, with the launch of Paula's Choice C5 Super Boost Moisturizer and Dr. Dennis Gross' Vitamin C Lactic collection. Here's what else has happened in the beauty industry this week:RETAILConscious Coconut: The coconut oil brand, usually found online, has expanded to Whole Foods. Coming to 600 Whole Food stores across the United States, the brand will be available in select stores starting August 1.Building on its successful retail program, which includes partnerships with Target, Best Buy, and Macy’s, Manscaped is launching into more than 5,000 Walgreens retail locations nationwide. “As an omnichannel business, retail plays an integral role in the growth and expansion of our brand, and this partnership with Walgreens brings our products to a new and wide-reaching customer base,” said Paul Tran, founder and CEO of Manscaped.BRAND
